The organisers of the prestigious World Gunmakers’ Evening are delighted to announce the appointment of The Gunmakers Trust as the official charity for the 2025 event. Returning to its Spring date, this highly anticipated gathering takes place at The Savoy, London, on 29th May 2025.

The exclusive event, which celebrates the finest craftsmanship and heritage in gunmaking, offers potential buyers the opportunity to get hands-on with some of the finest guns in the world. Exhibitors including best London makers Purdey and Holland & Holland will be in attendance, amongst a variety of exceptional craftsmanship rooted overseas.

The Gunmakers Trust is dedicated to preserving the skills, traditions, and future of British gunmaking, supporting education, apprenticeships, and initiatives that safeguard the industry’s legacy. As the chosen charity for this year’s event, Gunmakers Trust will benefit from fundraising efforts, donations, and increased visibility among leading figures in the shooting and gunmaking community.

“We are honoured to partner with the Gunmakers Trust, an organisation that shares our commitment to excellence in gunmaking,” said James Gower, Managing Director. “Their work ensures that the skills and traditions of this craft are passed on to future generations, making them an ideal charity partner for our event.”

Attendees at the World Gunmakers’ Event will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from Gunmakers Trust, learn about their initiatives, and contribute to their vital work.

“The World Gunmakers Event is the perfect platform to showcase the importance of our mission,” said Robin Curtis, newly elected Chairman at The Gunmakers Trust. “We are grateful for this partnership and the generosity of those who will support our efforts to sustain British gunmaking for future generations.”

The World Gunmakers’ Evening at The Savoy promises to be an unmissable occasion for enthusiasts, collectors, and buyers alike.
